I’ve been reading a lot of articles lately about how to find online courses and home-based jobs. It seems like everyone has the same question: What’s the best way to make money?
I’m really interested in finding ways that can provide me with more flexibility but also be something I enjoy doing. My interest is security, so I’m looking for a business related to that.
One thing that always helps when you’re trying to come up with an idea is research. With just a little bit of time spent researching what people want from their businesses, you’ll have your niche!
Here’s what I did to find an online course to help in my search:
- I went to Google and typed “online courses for home business”
- Then, I looked up some of the most popular ones on this list: [Link]
- From there, if my interest piqued or it seemed like something I was genuinely interested in, then I researched more about that course.
With just a little bit of time spent researching, I found a website called I Buy I Review. The website is operated by entrepreneur Elliot Berard, who buys online courses and then reviews them. He reviews what it’s like to take the course, how good the content is and provides a general overview of whether or not he would recommend that course.
It was easy for me to find a blog post on his site with my search term as one of its words! I found this helpful because Elliot had already reviewed similar courses.
I’m excited to see what he has to say about that course and whether or not it’s helpful for me.
I’m looking for more balance in my personal life, so I am considering a job that is alternate to the traditional work-at-home opportunity. Something like taking online courses and reviewing them for course providers, which would allow me to have some income but also spend more time with my family.
I figure other advantages of working from home are that I don’t have to commute and that my boss is never there.
Sounds like a win-win!
The main thing I am trying to do here is find an alternate job that can work with me instead of against me when it comes to the balance in my life.
I’m looking for a job that has flexibility, and I haven’t had much luck in the past.
This is why I am exploring other options to find what will work best for me.
Checking out online course reviews to discover what you’re interested in can be time-consuming, so start with one or two at first before committing more of your time.
If you decide to go for an online course in a subject of interest and it turns out not be what you want after all, don’t give up! There are plenty of other options on the table – try again until something works for you.
